Job Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with the Skilled Nursing Facility regulations and follows established policies and procedures for our facility in Minneapolis, MN - Jones-Harrison Senior Living. Nurse schedule includes: 64 hours per two weeks. Overnight shift Every other weekend Sat/Sunday and holiday rotation Full benefits (paid time off, matching retirement, medical, dental, college funds) Celebrating 135 years of service, Jones-Harrison Senior Living is conveniently located close to the metro bus stops off Cedar Lake Ave./Drew Ave. S. and Cedar Lake Ave./France Ave. S. in Minneapolis. It features 53 assisted living, 9 memory care apartments, 120 skilled and long-term care beds. Responsibilities: Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans Required MN LPN licensure AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS) Able to work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Previous healthcare experience Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine Benefit Overview Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
