Job Title: PCU Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Ortho/General Surgical Duration: Not specified Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 2 years PCU experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: Degree accreditation verification required or must have 5 years of experience Description: 4W Ortho/General Surgical PCU is a 40-bed unit. Ratios are 4:1 and could flex up to 6:1 depending on staffing and acuity. EMR used is Epic. Floating is required; travelers are the first to float and may float to other sister campuses. Culture is very important. Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff does. All required time off must be submitted upfront. No exceptions will be made for pending documentation.
