Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork, while bringing a reliable, agile, innovative approach and acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $16.21 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or restricted areas, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor and vehicle screening procedures.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel, following post orders, and completing required reports with clear and accurate details.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
