City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an experienced Sr. Laboratory Scientist to work full days for the Clinical Lab in Microbiology Setup and Urinalysis. (0630-1500) As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties are to perform laboratory testing and interpret test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommends contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.
