Accounting CoordinatorLegends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Accounting Coordinator at the Abilene Convention Center. The Accounting Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support within the realm of accounting. This includes adeptly managing tasks such as invoice processing and maintaining meticulously organized payable lists. A keen diligence is imperative to facilitate seamless operations in all accounting processes.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following:Performing and reviewing debit and credit reconciliations with the ability to resolve variancesPost daily journal entries to Microsoft D365Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of financial documentsAssist Finance Team with coding of receipts and disbursementsMaintain and audit sales reports, parking sales, and exhibitor deposits for eventsCorrectly code and process invoicesSupport venue employees with purchasing system including guidance with vendor information, coding, receiving, etc.Assist in tracking and managing expensesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, and updating ledgersManage various administrative duties related to the finance departmentAssist and be on site for all major events to help ensure before, during, and after the event is executed seamlesslyAssist in Balance Sheet ReconciliationsAssist in Food & Beverage AccountingAssist Food & Beverage with inventory tracking / keyingAssist the Finance Manager in special projects as requiredWorking with Finance team and various department heads to meet reporting and budgeting needsOther duties may be assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo supervisory responsibilitiesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
