Job Title Physical Therapist Location California | Outpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 40 hours/week, flexible schedule Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned with appropriate supervision and completion of student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act , maintain professional licensure in good standing, and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing (California licensure required) Outpatient physical therapy experience required Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and treatments No new graduates — prior clinical experience required Ability to maintain compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards including confidentiality and professional codes of conduct Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with functional treatment program design supporting return to community activities Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives Active involvement in professional development, continuing education, or professional organizations Why Join Us Flexible scheduling within an expected 40-hour workweek in a structured outpatient setting Opportunity to work within a patient- and safety-focused clinical environment that supports professional growth and development Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 792886.
