Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in an operating room setting during overnight shifts, primarily covering urgent and emergent add-on cases.
• Function as a scrub or circulating nurse across up to 2 operational overnight ORs within an 8-OR facility.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout operative procedures.
• Adhere to all facility protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements specific to the OR environment.
• During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams as directed by facility leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or compact nursing license (SC license must be active prior to start date).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience in a pediatric setting.
• Minimum of 2 prior travel nurse contract assignments (first-time travelers not accepted).
• Ability to work weekends as required (likely Friday nights).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in pediatric and/or women's surgery.
• Familiarity with urgent and emergent surgical add-on case workflows in an overnight OR environment.
