Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current or eligible Special Education Teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field required
- Previous classroom experience with students requiring special education services
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt instructional methods
- Organizational skills for managing caseloads and maintaining documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain accurate records documenting student performance and compliance with educational requirements
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to promote student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to a positive school culture
