Location: Tacoma Type: Direct Hire Salary: DOE Pierce county based company seeks senior accountant to join their team. Responsibilities Assists in the preparation of financial statements Reviews and approves Staff Accountant work; Will have complete ownership of assigned technical, high-level areas of accounting Responsible for G/L account reconciliations and related analysis Performs monthly/quarterly close processes to include investigative analysis of monthly/quarterly results Works with external auditors related to assigned areas of quarterly reviews and annual audits Works with internal and external auditors related to compliance with internal controls Works with related departments on accounting matters Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures Performs special projects related to implementing new GAAP, systems and processes Qualifications CPA or CMA highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
