Key Qualifications:

• Valid State of Texas Special Education Certification
• Demonstrated experience managing self-contained Life Skills environments
• Skilled in differentiating instruction for a range of abilities across K–6 grade levels
• Collaborative mindset and effective communication with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and initiative in a dynamic educational setting

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement specialized lesson plans tailored to students’ unique needs and abilities
• Modify curriculum and instructional materials to ensure accessibility for all learners
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages independence and self-advocacy
• Utilize progress monitoring tools to assess student development and adjust teaching strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff for inclusive educational experiences
• Participate in IEP meetings and comply with state and federal special education regulations
