Floating Assistant

Provides administrative support to assigned department with flexibility to be reassigned to serve other departments to meet ministry needs at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC”).Responsibilities:Provide clerical assistance to assigned ministry including:Scheduling appointmentsAnswering telephones and responding to emailsOrdering office suppliesOther clerical and administrative dutiesSubmit purchase orders, check requests, and other required financial related items and ensure compliance with PBC policiesUnderstand the PBC church programming software to enter events, details, and work ordersUnderstand the PBC membership database as needed for the ministryRun required reports and maintain filesEnsure volunteer screening processes are followedAssist with special assignments and eventsRespond to requests from ministry leadership, volunteers and prospectsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBCWillingness to serve where neededExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to juggle routine duties with changing prioritiesAbility to work individually from a task list or in a team environmentStrong communication skills, both written and oralIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office productsAbility to work a varied weekly scheduleAbility to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance #J-18808-Ljbffr Prestonwood Baptist Church
