This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM, with no call required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a rehab center/nursing home. This role focuses on providing bedside care to short-term rehab and long-term care residents. The LPN will be responsible for various nursing duties, including administering medications and supervising CNA staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and provide direct patient care to residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Provide wound care as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience is required.
• Valid Tennessee LPN license is mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• IV certification is preferred.
