Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a specialized program in Ultrasonic Technology or relevant on-the-job training with a registered sonographer (preferred)
• At least one year of ultrasound experience in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and understanding of physician office procedures
• Skilled in the use and troubleshooting of ultrasound equipment and safety protocols
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required upon hire/transfer
• Registered in OB/GYN with RDMS within 1 year of hire/transfer
• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current and renewable every two years
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to identify normal/pathological features

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing medical conditions
• Produce and communicate clear sonograms
• Adhere to established protocols, ensuring safety and patient comfort
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
