System Administrator T2.5 (MSP / Hybrid WFH) Location: New York, NY Work Model: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 MSP Experience: Required Tier 2.5 MSP Support With Growth Path We are a growing Managed Services Provider hiring a System Administrator T2.5 to support professional services clients across New York City. This role is a strong fit for an MSP technician who enjoys technical variety, client interaction, Mac and Windows support, Microsoft 365, cloud first environments, and hands on troubleshooting across multiple client environments. You will support clients in legal, accounting, engineering, architecture, creative services, and other professional services industries while building toward senior escalation, client relationship, account management, or CIO adjacent responsibilities over time. You will work in a flat technical structure where engineers collaborate across the full client base instead of being locked into one pod, one client group, or one narrow support lane. Technical Scope Provide Tier 2 and Tier 2.5 support across multiple MSP client environments Troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, Microsoft 365, user access, cloud applications, endpoint issues, and network connectivity Manage remote service desk tickets while supporting NYC client visits when hands on work is needed Support professional services applications used in architecture, engineering, design, and creative environments, including Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Serve as an escalation point for more complex endpoint, application, identity, and connectivity issues Collaborate with other engineers while maintaining ownership of assigned tickets and client communication Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, client interactions, and environment details in the PSA system Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements that reduce support volume and improve client stability Required Background 3+ years of professional IT support experience MSP experience supporting multiple client environments is required Tier 2 or Tier 2.5 support experience with the ability to work independently toward resolution Strong Windows and macOS troubleshooting experience Hands on Microsoft 365 support experience, including user administration, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, permissions, and common access issues Working knowledge of cloud first client environments, identity management, endpoints, and basic network troubleshooting Ability to support professional services users across business applications, hardware, software, and connectivity issues Strong communication skills with a polished, client facing approach Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving MSP environment Ability to travel to client sites throughout New York City as needed Additional Strengths Experience with Halo, Ninja, Addigy, Apple Business Manager, or similar MSP and Apple management tools Familiarity with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other AEC applications Experience acting as a technical escalation point or trusted client resource Pay, Benefits, and Growth $90,000 to $110,000 base salary Health and Vision Insurance Major holidays off Minor federal holidays are generally treated as light days Hybrid WFH (4 days onsite, 1 day at home) Clear path toward senior technical responsibilities, client relationship ownership, account management, or strategic client advisory work Opportunity to join a growing MSP with a cloud first technical environment and strong client variety #J-18808-Ljbffr Bowman Williams
