Senior Advanced Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in aerospace gas turbine engine Performance & Operability modeling .
This role is focused heavily on thermodynamic engine modeling and NPSS , so we’re looking for someone who has personally built and performed analysis with engine cycle models, not someone who only used the output of those models.
What you’ll be doing:
• Build, debug, refine, and maintain steady-state and transient engine models using NPSS
• Perform gas turbine engine performance and operability modeling and analysis
• Develop and support engine cycle models and customer models
• Analyze and decompose engineering requirements
• Support engine development, testing, qualification, and data analysis
• Work across multiple engineering disciplines to develop accurate system models
• Support a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment
• Share NPSS modeling knowledge and mentor other engineers
• Present technical findings to engineering leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline
• 4+ years of hands-on turbine engine Performance & Operability modeling and analysis
• Strong understanding of gas turbine thermodynamics and engine cycles
• Hands-on experience building and debugging NPSS models
• Experience with both steady-state and transient modeling
• Experience with requirements analysis/decomposition
• MBSE experience is a plus
• Experience with Cameo or similar MBSE tools is a plus
