Commercial Portfolio Manager

Our client, a well known regional bank, is seeking a C&I Portfolio Manager to join its Commercial & Industrial lending team. This role will support relationship managers by underwriting new credit opportunities and managing an existing portfolio of C&I relationships across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities Underwrite new loan requests, renewals, and modifications, including financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, and covenant structuring Manage and monitor an assigned portfolio for credit quality, covenant compliance, and early risk identification Prepare credit approval memos and present recommendations to credit committee Partner closely with relationship managers to support business development and client retention Conduct annual reviews, field exams, and ongoing financial statement analysis Ensure adherence to bank credit policy and regulatory requirements Qualifications 2–10+ years of experience in commercial underwriting and/or portfolio management, ideally within C&I lending Strong financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit structuring skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; formal credit training program a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior credit officers Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
