School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Ridgecrest, California

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary caseload in a school setting located in Ridgecrest, CA. This position is a contract role running from August 6, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with full-time hours totaling 37.5 per week. The focus is on providing onsite services exclusively, as the district is transitioning away from virtual appointments to direct in-person intervention.


Key Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Experience working as an SLP in school settings.
• Ability to effectively manage and deliver services to an elementary school caseload.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with students, families, and educational staff.
• Commitment to providing onsite therapy services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for elementary students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services to students referred for speech and language support.
• Monitor and document student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Participate in team meetings as required by the district.
