We specialize in feeding therapy, sensory integration, fine motor development and early developmental milestones. We utiliza a child-led, holisitic approach to therapy integrating the latest research in therapeutic approaches. We are passionate about supporting families through their journey of parenthood.

Role Description

Thrive Pediatric Wellness is seeking an energetic and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide early intervention to infants and toddlers (0-3 years old) within West Los Angeles. The position focuses on in-home therapy servjces utilizing a child-led, play based approach to support development.

What you’ll do:

• Provide 1:1 Occupational Therapy in-home, daycares or school settings.
• Develoo and implement individual treatment plans focusing on fine motor development, sensory integration, self-regulation, feeding and social-emotional skills.
• Educate families, caregivers and educators on therapeutic strategies to support progress at home or school.
• Write treatment session documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Active Ca state license in Occupational Therapy. National Occupational Therapist license.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• CPR certification
• Minimum 18 months experience working in Early Intervention as an OTR/L. Preferred.
• Strong communcation, flexibilty, empathy and a passion for working with children.
• Previous experience in in-home or community-based therapy is a plus
