Senior Systems Engineer

Management & Engineering Technologies International, Inc.

For our Technical and Engineering Services Support bid concerning Airborne Networking and Advance Development (AN&AD), METI is currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer. Please note that this position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties

Perform full systems engineering lifecycle activities, including system integration, installation, testing, verification, and certification of DOW or mission-critical systems.
Develop, verify, and validate system requirements.
Support system testing, verification, or operational test events (e.g., SOVT or similar).
Develop or support technical documentation and certification artifacts.
Support readiness certifications or technical review boards (e.g., FRCB or similar).
Manage and support communications systems in airborne, shore-based, or SATCOM environments.
Work within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or similar collaborative engineering environments.
Support system installation planning, such as site surveys, integration plans, or deployment briefs.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience supporting systems engineering, integration, testing, or certification of DOW or mission-critical systems.
Experience supporting communications systems, including airborne, shore-based, or SATCOM environments.
Experience in system integration, installation, and certification activities.
Experience supporting system testing, verification, or operational test events (e.g., SOVT or similar) Experience performing requirements development, verification, and validation.
Experience developing or supporting technical documentation and certification artifacts.
Experience working within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) or similar collaborative engineering environments
Must have Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Desired:

Extensive experience (e.g., 10+ years) supporting complex DOW technical programs.
Experience supporting airborne communications systems or SATCOM-based architecture.
Experience supporting system installation planning (e.g., site surveys, integration plans, or deployment briefs).
Experience supporting readiness certifications or technical review boards (e.g., FRCB or similar).
Experience troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues in operational environments.
Experience mentoring junior engineers or serving in a technical leadership role
