Join the team at Friendship Village Chesterfield, a senior living community committed to providing exceptional service while creating a supportive and rewarding environment for employees.

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents while helping create an exceptional dining experience.

Available Openings

• Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Rotating Weekends Required

Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and production schedules

• Ensure food is prepared, plated, and presented according to quality standards

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention guidelines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

• Properly store, label, and rotate food products

• Assist with meal preparation, special events, and catering as needed

• Monitor food quality, temperatures, and portion sizes

• Collaborate with the Culinary Services team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents

• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Dependable attendance and punctuality
