Electrophysiology Cardiology Advance Practice Provider

Bayview Physicians Group is a progressive, independent multi-specialty in Coastal Virginia. Bayview is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Advance Practice Provider (EP APP) to join our dynamic Cardiovascular Team. The EP APP will work in collaboration with, and under supervision of Bayview’s board‑certified cardiovascular physicians to deliver high‑quality patient care. This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities based on clinical needs, with a focus on the management, planning of care, and treatment of the cardiac patient. What Bayview offers: Great work/life balance Competitive compensation Full benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off CME Allowance Malpractice and tail endorsement coverage Responsibilities: Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform detailed physician examinations Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Initiate, monitor, and adjust medications per the EP APP Practice Agreement Manage patients with complex cardiovascular diseases, particularly arrhythmias Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and radiographic imaging Interrogate and appropriately reprogram Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices Educate patients and families about diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans Provide pre‑ and post‑procedural education for patients undergoing electrophysiologic procedures Hospital Based Responsibilities: Perform daily hospital rounds and coordinate with EP physicians between procedures Serve as the main point of contact for in‑hospital EP issues and patient needs Coordinate inpatient EP procedures and antiarrhythmic drug initiation/titration with EP physicians and schedulers Provide discharge education and complete necessary follow‑up orders Outpatient Responsibilities: Manage a daily schedule of approximately 15 patients in the clinic Provide care under supervision and collaboration of on‑site EP physicians See patients for: Pre‑ and post‑procedure evaluations Antiarrhythmic drug monitoring Urgent symptom assessments CIED interrogations and remote transmission interpretations Subcutaneous monitor consultations Routine electrophysiology follow‑ups Organization: Provide services in Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach More than 30 providers including: Primary Care Specialty APPs 75+ outpatient care clinics 7 Urgent Cares Ambulatory Surgery Center Sleep Lab Center Strong commitment to value‑based care with successful Accountable Care Organization (ACO) serving 50,000+ patients Please send your CV to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
