Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to or upon orientation.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads typical of long-term care and post-acute settings, including fall risk assessment and restorative programs.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation standards for skilled nursing facilities preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and therapy assistants. PCT (patient care technician) support expectation: 85%.
