Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• High school diploma or GED
• Must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years post-technical school radiology work experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist
• Must meet at least one of the following qualifications:
  • Successful completion of on-the-job training within six months of hire
  • Six months' recent experience within the past two years as a Special Procedures Technologist
• CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam
• IABP Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump
• Must read, write and communicate in English

Assignment Details:

• Hours: 0700-1500
• Standard hours per week: 40
• On-call required for off-shifts, weekends and holidays
• May assist Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists in the operating room as needed
