Local Team Collaboration Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and tele‑ICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care resulting in positive patient outcomes. Qualifications Board Certified Physician Assistant. Two years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs). Montana Physician Assistants must demonstrate completion of 8,000 or more documented practice hours. Active Montana license and DEA preferred. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling ICU coverage is 12‑hour day Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. working in collaboration with Sound tele‑ICU physician. Average of 15 shifts per month, modified block shift schedule. Key Responsibilities 10‑bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic patients and observation ICU patients, estimated 8 encounters per day. Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgeon, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants and other hospital team members to deliver high quality, evidence‑based critical care services. Perform comprehensive assessments and implement patient treatment plans. Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice including central line and arterial line placement and intubation. Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy. Participate in goals of care discussions and family communication. Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives as determined. Rewards and Compensation Annual salary, $200,000 plus based on 15 12‑hour shifts per month. Full benefits offered.
