Position Summary

The Plumbing Assistant is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
• Install plumbing systems for new construction and remodeling projects
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
• Read and interpret blueprints and building codes
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or Plumber
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
• Valid driver’ s license with clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing
• Backflow certification
• Experience with tankless water heaters and modern plumbing technologies
