Plumbing Assistant
[Company Name] is a growing and reputable plumbing company dedicated to providing high-quality service to residential and/or commercial customers. We take pride in our workmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction, and we’ re looking for a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team.
Position Summary
The Plumbing Assistant is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Install plumbing systems for new construction and remodeling projects
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions
- Read and interpret blueprints and building codes
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Technician or Plumber
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
- Valid driver’ s license with clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing
- Backflow certification
- Experience with tankless water heaters and modern plumbing technologies
