Store Sales Associate Citi Trends Join us as a Store Sales Associate at Citi Trends, one of the largest chains in the value‑priced urban apparel industry. We are growing and looking for a dedicated team member to help lead the way. Responsibilities Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns. Balance the register according to company policy. Call out prices while ringing transactions. Bag merchandise efficiently upon completing a customer's transaction. Handle all cash, checks, and credit cards correctly in accordance with company policy. Obtain management approval for returns, voids, and checks as needed. Complete maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned. Deliver proper customer service: greet customers, adhere to fitting‑room policies, ring customers in a timely manner, thank customers for shopping, and invite them to return. Follow all safety procedures. Maintain a professional, neat appearance, including wearing a name tag. Assist management in merchandising the sales floor according to stock levels. Assist management with any tasks requested per company policy. Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions. Assist the Store Manager with loss‑prevention procedures, including preventing shoplifting and cash losses, reporting incidents of theft or dishonesty, and following all current operational policies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
