Emergency Room Nurse

Location: Arizona

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse with a minimum of 24 months of ER experience, including recent work within the last 12 months. The selected candidate will be floating between two campuses, with a primary focus on providing exceptional patient care in emergency settings. Navy scrubs are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide effective patient care plans.
• Handle emergency situations and provide critical support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ER nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Active nursing license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
