Direct Support Professional (DSP)

QPA Behavioral and Education partners with organizations across the social services sector to connect qualified professionals with meaningful opportunities. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Chicago area. Position Overview DSPs provide direct care and daily living support to individuals in residential or community-based settings. In this role, you will assist clients with personal care, daily routines, community engagement, and promoting independence while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision to individuals receiving services Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders Support clients with community outings, appointments, and recreational activities Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Ensure client safety and follow all agency policies and procedures Requirements High school diploma or GED required Valid Driver’s License DSP Certified CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills If you are passionate about making a positive impact and supporting individuals in achieving greater independence, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
