Since 2003, SA Hospitality Group has expanded to a selective group of iconic New York neighborhoods with its three brands: Sant Ambroeus, Casa Lever, Felice with 24 restaurant locations in Manhattan, Southampton, NY, East Hampton, NY, Aspen, CO, Milan, Italy, and Palm Beach, FL.Position Purpose: The dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, sheet pans, pots, pans, utensils, and baking equipment through manual and machine cleaning methods.Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Wash sheet pans, dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans or all equipment used for production using dishwasher machine or by hand if necessary.Clean garbage cans with water or steamMaintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.Place clean pans, utensils, and cooking equipment in the assigned storage areas.Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.Organize and label all produce deliveries (dairy, flour, etc.)Deep cleaning of equipment – ovens, floors, counters, freezers & refrigerators, etc.Clean and maintain grease trap (every few days as assigned and when needed)Clean the entire production area and other assigned areas of the bakery – to include sweeping, floor mopping and scrubbing, polishing of dust from equipment, etc.Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by manager or chef that include but are not limited to stairs, sinks, bathrooms, mirrors, toilet seats, floors, trashcans, toilet paper stand and walls.Manage inventory of toilet supplies.Minimal Essential Requirements:The ability to work as part of a team, and personal cleanliness.Very basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.Time management and ability to work under pressure to manage high volume of production.Ability to communicate and understand direction in English to ensure safety in the workplace.
