Surgical Clinical Reviewer

Seeking experienced NSQIP-Adult Registry Abstractors, the full-time or part-time position will independently review clinical documentation, apply registry specifications, and ensure accurate data abstraction for surgical registries in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Reviews patient medical records and abstracts data for the NSQIP-Adult Registry Applies registry specifications and guidelines accurately while maintaining high abstraction accuracy Participates in quality assurance activities and communicates with team members and clients for clarification Required qualifications Current Surgical Clinical Reviewer certification required At least 2 years of recent NSQIP-Adult Registry abstraction experience Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and clinical documentation review Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines Comfort working in multiple EHRs and data collection systems
