CNC Machinist
Location: Winsted, CT
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Compensation: Up to $35/hr DOE + Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd Shift
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Machine precision components to tight tolerances
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor part quality and make necessary tooling and offset adjustments
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience performing machine setups and adjustments
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Aerospace, turbine, or other precision manufacturing experience preferred
