Prod Tech 2 page is loaded## Prod Tech 2locations: USA - CA - San Jose (Rose)time type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: 20261421**It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!**We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Job Summary:\\*\\*The Production Technician 2 at Lumentum Operations LLC is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks related to the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of optical components and sub-systems, ensuring products meet quality and performance specifications.Job Responsibilities:\\*\\*\\* Perform complex assembly and test operations on optical components and sub-systems, adhering to established procedures and quality standards.\\* Utilize various hand tools, test equipment, and fixtures to complete assigned tasks.\\* Conduct routine and non-routine testing, data collection, and analysis to identify and resolve product issues.\\* Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in products and processes, implementing corrective actions under general supervision.\\* Operate and maintain production equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance as required.\\* Accurately record production data, including work-in-progress, test results, and defect information.\\* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.\\* Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.\\* Provide training and guidance to less experienced production technicians as needed.Job Qualifications:\\*\\*\\* High school diploma or equivalent required.\\* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with optical or electronic components.\\* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.\\* Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.\\* Experience with various test equipment (e.g., optical power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters) is highly desirable.\\* Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications.\\* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.\\* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.\\* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks requiring extended periods of standing or sitting.**Pay Range:**N20-USA-1 :$21.65 - $27.05**Disclaimer:**Final base salary for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job location, where work will be performed, qualifications, work history and relevant experience.
