Location: 456 Main St. Brockway, PA 15824 Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (Must be flexible around branch hours) Function Responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer service related to branch operations on the teller line in conjunction with sales and platform duties, including meeting assigned sales goals, in support of Individual and Branch production goals. Shared responsibility of duties is dictated by the business needs of the branch. Duties and Responsibilities Use a combination of computer systems, S&T sales skills, product knowledge, and knowledge of policies and procedures to successfully operate a customer service window in an efficient and accurate manner, providing exceptional customer service on a variety of transactions. Utilize computer systems to properly identify customers, verify authenticity of the requested transaction, and complete required steps to protect the customer and the bank from fraud (including verifying balances, placing holds, and documenting proper identification). Accept deposits, verify endorsements, and issue receipts. Accept checks or coupons for cashing, identify customer, verify endorsements and balances, and/or refer customers to branch management for authorization. Accept savings deposits and withdrawals and perform related duties. Provide additional customer services, including bank money orders and other services. Accept various loan payments or other types of payments. Balance window cash daily. Perform ATM settlement where applicable. Assist in vault balancing where applicable. Profile customers to determine and recommend appropriate S&T loan and deposit products. Utilize all sales tools as provided to enhance the customer experience and sales conversation (examples: LoanFit, sales binders, etc.). Complete S&T sales process and customer‑focused conversation with each customer, document notes in the appropriate system for all bankers to view in future interactions. Successfully develop customer profiles and identify their banking needs. Close business and perform follow‑up calls to ensure customer satisfaction. Build warm but professional relationships with customers to help further define their needs and increase their loyalty to S&T Bank. Demonstrate complete understanding of the S&T sales process and comprehensive knowledge of S&T policies and procedures to successfully identify add‑on selling opportunities and make recommendations to customers based on their needs. Be CARE certified within 6 months of hire. Contribute to Branch goals and sales and service standards as outlined in the branch playbook and detailed by Branch Management. Execute professional sales and service behaviors in alignment with Bank’s Our Shared Future purpose, values and core drivers. Perform follow‑up calls to new account customers to determine satisfaction and additional leads. Perform outbound calls as outlined in the branch playbook with reference to sample scripts in the sales and service guide and proposed potential customer lists provided to grow existing customer relationships. Participate in branch sales call campaigns, as needed. Perform data entry and prepare documentation to process new account customers and change existing accounts. Maintain existing accounts; answer questions and solve problems related to customer accounts and handle check orders for new and existing accounts when needed. Perform customer service duties as required, such as taking deposits, cashing checks, and processing withdrawals. Prepare loan applications using LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation. Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as be motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the branch and the organization. Complete NMLS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification and maintain the registration annually in accordance with the S.A.F.E. Act. Assume additional duties as required (e.g., balancing ATMs, processing deposits, etc.). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two to five years of general and specialized experience. Successful completion of the retail training program required including CSR and RSA training programs. Physical demand abilities: operate keypad device (70% of day), operate electronic equipment (10%), operate office equipment (10%), stand 2 hours per day, sit 5 hours per day, lift up to 20 lbs. regularly, lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, typing and data entry up to 40% of day.
