Summary About the Position: This position is located at Martin Army Community Hospital in Patient (Disability Evaluation System (DES) Administration Fort Benning, GA 31905-5637 This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major Duties Conducts and directs collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Assesses acute and non-acute clinical problems. Consults with physicians regarding patient management, to include evaluating and revising therapeutic plans and managing high-risk, unstable, or extremely complex patients. Reviews existing medical literature/journals to determine and implement the optimal evidence for patient care plan. Analyzes epidemiological, biostatistical, environmental, and other appropriate scientific data, related to individual, aggregate, and population health. Serves as a preceptor to graduate students enrolled in nurse practitioner and physician assistant programs, medical students and to newly assigned nurse practitioners.
