We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team, specializing in structural steel and automotive parts projects. The ideal candidate will perform welding operations and set up welding equipment, working independently on most tasks with occasional supervision. Proficiency in using standard welding machines, cutting, and grinding tools is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on structural steel and automotive parts
- Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for welding
- Operate standard welding machines and related tools
- Maintain welding safety practices
- Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications
- Work independently on assigned tasks with occasional supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of welding experience
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques
- Strong knowledge of welding safety practices
- High attention to detail
- Physical stamina to handle manual welding tasks
