Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The Production Worker will contribute to the manufacturing of wire mesh fencing in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be safety-oriented and possess a team-player attitude. You will be responsible for manually loading materials, observing machine operations, and detecting any malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload parts and materials consistently.
• Move materials, kneeling, and bending as necessary.
• Unload parts and stack materials efficiently.
• Assemble wire mesh nets and thread wire mesh together.
• Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators accordingly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
• Proficiency in machine operation and assembly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and operating machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift operation and packaging experience.
• Experience in construction and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
• Experience in inventory management and visual inspection.

Work Environment

Work four days a week, Monday through Thursday. Choose between day shifts (5:15 AM – 3:45 PM) or swing shifts (3:15 PM - 1:45 AM) in an industrial, climate-controlled setting. Personal protective equipment is important, including steel-toed boots, eye protection, gloves, jeans, and optional ear protection. Hard hats are required in areas where cranes may be used, though this is not common.

This is a Contract position based out of ALGODONES, NM.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.25/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in ALGODONES,NM.
