About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds CVICU RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent dedicated experience in Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care. License: Valid state license required at the time of assignment. Certifications: BLS, PALS required. Must-Have: Candidate must be cardiac trained. Candidate must have experience in stand-alone Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care; floating experience does not count. Candidate must be able to rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks. Candidate must be available for every other weekend and every other holiday. Description: This position involves providing nursing care for pediatric patients in a critical care setting. Travelers will rotate shifts according to the facility's needs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. Candidates must be willing to float to other critical care units as needed. Experience in pediatric cardiovascular care is essential. All candidates must comply with established policies and procedures in a non-smoking facility. A photo is required upon contract acceptance.
