Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Traffic Clerk to support daily logistics and driver coordination. This role is key to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining clear communication between drivers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily driver schedules and delivery routes to ensure on-time service
- Communicate with drivers via phone, radio, or dispatch systems to provide instructions and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of dispatch activities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on deliveries
Qualifications
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to answer and manage a high volume of phone calls professionally
- Comfortable communicating with both customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatch systems
