Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | 7A–7:30P / 7P–7:30A (Day & Night Shifts Available) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, managing a diverse patient population across acuity levels
• Perform and assist with procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care with TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy — all travelers are required to float; candidates must be informed of and agree to the floating policy prior to placement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and professional conduct standards at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• PALS or ENPC required
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• TNCC required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
• Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity environment
