Non-Invasive Cardiologist Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: Bronx, New York
Position Type: Permanent (Direct Hire) Part-Time or Full-Time Options Available
Specialty: Cardiology Non-Invasive / General Cardiology
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular evaluations, consultations, and ongoing management for adult patients with complex cardiac conditions (e.g., CAD, hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease).
- Supervise, perform, and interpret non-invasive diagnostic testing, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress tests (nuclear, exercise, echo), and Holter/event monitor reports.
- Formulate evidence-based treatment plans, lifestyle interventions, and pharmacotherapy management.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and advanced practice providers.
- Complete prompt and accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease / Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Active, unencumbered New York State Medical License (MD or DO).
- Active New York DEA registration and Controlled Substance authority.
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease from an accredited program.
- COSC / ICAEL echo and nuclear cardiology certifications (NBE, CBNC) are a plus.
- Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are a strong plus in this community setting.
