Performs CT imaging examinations on patients across all age groups, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Contributes to the smooth operation of the radiology department while delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans according to departmental protocols.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Perform advanced imaging procedures, including CT angiography such as PE chest, head, neck, abdomen, and lower extremity run-offs.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
- Assist with departmental clerical duties and provide support as a receptionist or clerk as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with preferred specialization in CT.
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification or equivalent credential.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of two years post-graduation imaging experience.
- Proficiency in radiography and computed tomography procedures; Siemens and Fuji experience preferred.
- Ability to perform complex CT angiography studies.
- Gain experience working in a remote, North Star-based healthcare environment.
