Project Manager / Engineer

Company Overview Geotek is a full‑service consulting engineering firm founded in 1997, specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, and environmental consulting. Position: Project Manager / Engineer – Albuquerque, NM The Project Manager is responsible for the technical, operational, management, and administrative activities of assigned projects. Essential Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Geologist (PG) license. Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or related field) with PE registration, or Bachelor’s in Geology with PG. Sound experience in engineering or scientific principles related to the firm’s services. Ability to make independent decisions on project problems and methods. Essential Job Functions Ensure compliance with the GeoTek Quality System. Provide technical leadership and conduct of projects. Supervise project personnel. Quality and content oversight of all project reports. Write or assist in writing complex technical reports. Approve project proposals, scopes, budgets, and associated contracts. Obtain and manage signed contracts and monitor invoicing. Coordinate client scope changes, prepare change orders, and secure approvals. Maintain compliance with all system requirements. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Physical Activities and Requirements Typical duties involve general physical activities such as standing, walking, and routine computer use. Ability to drive a motor vehicle is required. Compensation Annual pay range: $80,000 – $100,000 USD.
