Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surge Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: - Experience in Med Surg - Hospital Experience Description: This position is a contract role for a registered nurse specializing in Med Surge. The contract duration is 13 weeks. Shifts are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with no on-call requirements. Rotating weekends are required. The unit has 28 beds and a staff of 32 FTEs. Patient ratios range from 5:1 to 6:1. Common equipment used includes Video EEG, Hoyer Lift, Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, and Telemetry. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system utilized is Meditech. The nursing team consists of charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians. Collaboration and an owner mentality are highly valued on the unit. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs with a designated logo. Candidates should be open to feedback. Consideration will be given to those with epilepsy care experience. The unit aims to provide a supportive and innovative work environment.
