Clinical Lab Supervisor

Labcorp seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at Illinois Cancer Centers locations in Chicago. The role involves supervising laboratory personnel, ensuring accurate test performance, maintaining quality standards, and managing administrative responsibilities while performing technical work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day laboratory operations and ensure accurate, timely test results
• Train, mentor, and provide coaching to laboratory personnel with regular feedback
• Monitor workflow, schedule assay coverage, and maintain proper staffing across shifts
• Research production errors, implement process improvements, and maintain quality assurance records
• Perform bench work as needed while ensuring compliance with all regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• 3+ years clinical laboratory testing experience
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000
