Location: Assigned skilled nursing and long-term care facilities

Position Summary

ECRP is seeking a dependable and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory services to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. The therapist will deliver treatments under authorized provider orders, monitor resident progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with facility staff to support safe, high-quality respiratory care. ECRP provides respiratory-related services, staffing, and care support to healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and ordered treatments.
• Administer oxygen, nebulizer treatments, inhalers, airway-clearance therapies, and other prescribed services.
• Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, CPAP/BiPAP support, and ventilator monitoring when trained and assigned.
• Monitor residents for changes in respiratory status and promptly report concerns.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Inspect, clean, and properly maintain respiratory equipment.
• Educate residents, families, and facility staff on respiratory care and equipment use.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, rehabilitation professionals, and other care-team members.
• Follow ECRP policies, facility procedures, provider orders, HIPAA, infection-control standards, and professional scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
• Current Tennessee Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Current RRT or CRT credential through the NBRC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, tracheostomy, or ventilator experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete required background checks, health screenings, credentialing, and competency evaluations.
