You will need to live near our Lockheed Martin Space Waterton facility and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.What does this role look like?Lockheed Martin is approaching the production phase of the U.S. Army’s premier kinetic‑energy missile‑defense system NGI. Electronics Engineer Sr (E3) is an individual contributor on the PaCE electronics box supporting the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program. You will assist in completion of qualification followed by supporting hardware production and test. Work is performed under the direction of senior engineers and is focused on delivering hardware deliverables on schedule. This role blends production support, test failure support and End Item Data Package preparation for mission critical hardware.Key activities you will accomplish in this role:Oversee the integration and test of PaCE test hardwareProvide technical oversight for flight test operationsDevelopment testing and hardware qualificationDiscrepancy resolutionFailure Investigation and Root Cause Corrective Action implementationParticipate in design reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Generation of End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into system.Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.To be effective in this role, you will need:Experience in development and production of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.Material Review Board (MRB) experience.Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).Experience in launch vehicle or missile systems.Supporting electronics production including solving build and test issues5+ years’ professional experienceThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined educationExperience in development and production of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitryExperience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verificationAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus a US CitizenDesired SkillsExperience in launch vehicle or missile systemsExperience as an Electronics Product Engineer in efforts to certify avionics hardware, and its interfaces to other systems, as ready for flightSupporting electronics production including solving build and test issuesProficiency with end item hardware developmentFamiliarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.)Supporting both system and subsystem integration test execution, including environmental and ground testingHas demonstrated proficient presentation skills and associated presentation toolsKnowledge of subsystem/system requirements and processMaterial Review Board (MRB) experienceAbility to interpret electrical and wiring schematicsElectrical troubleshooting skillsMentor Graphics, ORCAD, Zuken or comparable drawing packageProficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practicePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
