Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Nightwing is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst to support this critical customer mission.The Cloud Security Analyst will assess, monitor, and secure cloud-based technology integration initiatives, ensuring cloud deployments meet security requirements while supporting pilot activities and production integrations. This role focuses on cloud security posture management, compliance validation, and risk mitigation for cloud-enabled capabilities.Responsibilities:Assess security of cloud-based technology integration pilotsMonitor cloud security posture for integrated capabilitiesConduct security reviews of cloud architectures and configurationsEnsure cloud deployments comply with federal security requirementsImplement cloud security controls and monitoring solutionsSupport local LLM development and deployment security within controlled boundariesAssess cloud integration risks and recommend mitigationsMonitor cloud environments for security events and anomaliesConduct security validation testing for cloud-based pilotsSupport transition of cloud pilots into production environmentsDocument cloud security controls and compliance evidenceCoordinate with cloud service providers on security requirementsSupport continuous monitoring and security automation in cloud environmentsEnsure cloud integrations align with Zero Trust principlesProvide cloud security guidance to development and operations teamsRequired Skills /Clearances :U.S. CitizenshipActive TS/SCI clearanceAbility to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability6 + years of experience in cloud security or security analysisStrong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security servicesExperience with cloud security assessment and monitoring toolsUnderstanding of federal cloud security requirements (FedRAMP, NIST)Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practicesExperience with security monitoring and SIEM platformsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with cloud compliance and governanceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent documentation and communication abilitiesDesired Skills:Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programsBackground in malware analysis or threat hunting in cloud environmentsExperience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of AI/ML security considerationsExperience with infrastructure-as-code security scanningFamiliarity with cloud security posture management (CSPM) toolsUnderstanding of multi-cloud and hybrid security architecturesRequired Education:BS in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related degree, or HS Diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experienceDesired Certifications:Dod 8570 IAT Level II IAWS Certified SecuritySalary & BenefitsThe salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
