POSITION OVERVIEW

Harbor Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Center team. This role is crucial in delivering member-centered infusion care while upholding clinical excellence and safety standards in our innovative healthcare model.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform comprehensive health assessments and deliver safe infusion treatments according to prescribed protocols. Communicate thoroughly and effectively with patients, family, caregivers to ensure comfort and safety with their care. Manage infusion reactions and provide thorough patient education about treatments and disease states. Coordinate care between patients, prescribers, and internal teams while maintaining detailed electronic documentation. Collaborate with Clinicians, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Pharmacists as needed to optimize patient care and treatment plans. Demonstrate expertise in peripheral line placement and port access. Monitor and interpret vital signs while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols. Demonstrate proficiency with technology and information management.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Current RN license required. BSN preferred but not required. CRNI preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2-3 years in infusion therapy. Critical care experience preferred. Current BLS certification. Strong technical competency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. Excellence in patient communication and education. Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize effectively. Works well in a team environment. Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting and repetitive motions.
