Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00).

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist with experience in Radiology to provide high-quality care in a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of electrophysiology procedures and a commitment to patient safety and excellence in care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrophysiology lab procedures, including cardiac ablation, conduction studies, and arrhythmia induction.
• Maintain high standards of sterile technique and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare patients for procedures by obtaining medical histories and conducting baseline measurements.
• Assist in the insertion of pacemakers and other medical devices.
• Interpret EKG results and assist in emergency cases within electrophysiology settings.
• Document procedures and patient interactions using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an EP Technologist is required.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and a valid OBMI license are mandatory.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is essential.
