Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Mercer County, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; scheduled hours vary between 7:30 am‑8:30 pm and rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent Two (2) years or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency acceptable in lieu of experience Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation Minimum age 21 years Pay Range $17.75 – $25.00 per hour. Float Phlebotomists receive an additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and an employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
